You don’t need to post to Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms in real time; you can schedule them in advance.

There are many tools that support this, including marketing automation platforms and enterprise social media tools. If you’re just getting started with it, though, you might want to check out Hootsuite and Sprout Social.

You can connect the major social media channels to these tools. Then you schedule your posts into the future, and also monitor your social channels. You can setup filters, too, so show you posts by others on topics that are important to you. As you see posts and comments related to your posts and ones on topics that you’re interested in, you can respond to them in real time through these tools rather than having to monitor and respond through several different platforms. This is how companies scale social media to make it a valuable channel, rather than just something that you post to at whim from time to time.

There are many other capabilities, too, including link shorteners and analytics. You get the idea.

So if you’re serious about social media at your organization, check these out.
